PANTANAL: Araras Lodge 02 nights (AL 2.1)

The Pantanal (Portuguese for Wetland or Floodplain) is the world’s largest continuous floodplain (actually an alluvial plain) located in the center of South America, shared by Brazil, Bolívia and Paraguay and covering approximately 168,000 km2 / 60,000 mi². This is a wilderness sanctuary for the amazing number of birds, reptiles and other animals and a delight to wildlife lovers and photographers. The Transpantaneira Park Road (dirt road) was built above the wetland level, allowing access to vehicles all year round. Its 147 km / 90 mi. links Poconé to Porto Jofre, through 126 narrow and small wooden bridges crossing rivers, creeks and the wetland, taking you deep into the Pantanal ecosystem. Araras Pantanal Eco Lodge is located by km 32 / 19.88 mi.
