The Climate

The climate of the Pantanal is tropical:

- in summer (January to March) is hot and the temperature is around 32 degrees C;

- in winter (July to September) is cold and dry, with average temperature of 21 degrees C.

The annual rainfall is between 1000 and 1400 mm, with the first rains starting in the spring (October to December) and intensifying in the summer (January to March).

Therefore, 04 stations are well defined and governed by the water cycle or water level in their fields.
